Whether to categorize her as an actor, a seller, or a streamer is up for debate. However, for “Guitar – Phromphon Phrommaphirom,” this was the first time she “knew it”—that she had realized her ambition of being a vocalist.
When Guitar was thirteen, she used the Talk Talk platform to perform live as a DJ after school. When she was 15 or 16 years old, her earnings had increased from 500–1,000 baht to 100,000 baht. To get followers, she even got up at four in the morning and broadcast live whenever she could.
She started engaging with her audience in a variety of ways while working as a DJ, including singing. She began covering songs by her favorite musicians when she was sixteen years old, and she would then publish them on her YouTube account, Guiitarima. She became known as a girl who liked to cover popular songs as a result of this.
When I initially started live broadcasting on social media, I was able to make hundreds of thousands of baht per month. The Talk Talk platform ended when I was sixteen. With the growth of other platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, I was able to expand my following. With these new channels, my viewership has grown from hundreds on Talk Talk to thousands,” she said with assurance.
Guitar chronicles her everyday activities and engages with her followers on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. She also performs renditions of well-known songs and narrates brief film summaries that she has seen. This has enabled her fans to see beyond her vocals.
Due of Guitar’s popularity as a streamer, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University’s Faculty of Management Sciences has asked her to give a motivational talk to students. This demonstrates her success in creating material on internet platforms.
Guitar’s life had major upheavals while she was between the ages of 16 and 17. She had to change schools after having difficulty in a number of singing competitions and resolving a family business matter. She attended a casting for a series and found it difficult to adjust to her new surroundings, so she made the decision to concentrate on her career as an actress. She transformed from a young girl with curly hair to a more adult appearance as a result of this.
But since the show was never re-recorded, I decided to enter the Miss Teen Thailand pageant with this look, and I placed in the top 50. I believe my distinct personality made me stand out from the other competitors. Despite my lack of success, the competition helped me get started as an actress in commercial casting,” she remarked.
Guitar went on, “With my curly hair, I feel more confident than with my straight hair because I don’t feel like I have to follow trends.” I can be myself, which is how I naturally appear, with my curly hair.
Guitar’s participation in Miss Teen Thailand helped her get her first acting job in the horror movie “Who Haunted Forest” (2020), costarring with Naek-Charlie Trairat in a supporting capacity. Guitar helped Naek-Charlie’s hip-hop song “Maeng Wan” because of their mutual love of music, which let her realize her ambition of being a vocalist.
Due of her own skin issues, Guitar entered the business sector between the ages of 18 and 19, when her focus changed to performing and the pageant world. She founded the company Maertar using a family-secret Thai herbal concoction. The firm, which offers a range of goods, saw notable growth in sales on e-commerce platforms, partly as a result of Guitar’s promotion of the goods via her streaming channels.
Guitar was adamant about becoming a vocalist. She had the opportunity to study at a record company for a number of years, but she chose to quit the trainee role because of chances in acting and advertising, as well as the COVID-19 epidemic. Instead, she pursued a career as a freelance artist, kept up her acting career, and managed her skincare line while waiting for her debut song to be released.
Guitar experienced linguistic hurdles that forced her to seek language courses in England at the age of 20, despite her lucrative skincare company and successful performing jobs. “I matured throughout my nearly year-long stay in England. Opportunities abound in London, where I got to know music producers who helped me learn more about a variety of musical genres. It was also at that time that I began penning lyrics motivated by my experiences there, the woman remarked.
Her debut hit, “Knew It,” was the result of her lyrics’ inspiration, “Look Peach The Voice’s” assistance in refining the song, and “Ben (benlussboy)” production.
Her own experiences with love and heartbreak during her stay in England served as the inspiration for “Knew It.” Her worry of getting wounded again after past betrayals is reflected in the song. The guitar explained
The message of the song is about letting love in yet being terrified of being wounded. It’s about trying to love yet being afraid of being let down. I occasionally felt numb and thought that
That’s how any new romance would end. I wanted love, but I was scared to start afresh.
The words of this R&B song are a combination of Thai and English. I decided to release it on my own YouTube channel as my first song as an independent artist since it has a melody and lyrics that really capture who I am.
Despite the fact that “Knew It” is an R&B song—her favorite genre—Guitar’s appearance makes us think of a lot of Diva vocalists. She thinks Celine Dion and Whitney Houston are two amazing diva vocalists. She does, however, look up to Rihanna as an artist when it comes to life and style. She would like working with Da Endorphine and Palmy Eve Pancharoen, two Thai artists.
Guitar clarified that she released “Knew It” as her first song because she is free to make music that truly captures her identity without being constrained by a record label. After consulting with a music producer, she concluded that this song would be ideal for her first release. She doesn’t, however, stick to R&B music. She made a suggestion that she might investigate rock music or songs in the vein of Diva in the future.
“My speaking abilities are what have gotten me to this point,” Guitar said with assurance. The range of content she provides on her guiitarima account across several platforms, which has resulted in revenue creation and company development, is a strong indication of her communication skills. Guitar’s flexibility as an entertainer adds to her attractiveness.
People have varied recollections of me: some see me as a singer, some as an entertainer, some as a hawker, some as a movie critic, and others as a streamer. These, in my opinion, are the colors of artists. Making art is, in my opinion, what it is to be an artist, and art knows no bounds. Music is no different. I adore R&B, but it’s not the only genre I want to listen to. I think I can be an artist of any sort as long as I can keep the audience entertained.
Guitar says, “I think I got to this point because I’m good at speaking,” and her confidence is evident. Throughout the talk, her confidence and excitement were clear. She likened her path to Whitney Houston’s song “I Have Nothing” in response to a question about the future.
“Five years ago, I had nothing, and now I have something,” she clarified. I want to be a person that people remember me in the future. No matter how people remember me, I want to be an iconic figure that they can never forget.
Guitar said, “For singing, I see it as a job that brings happiness to both me and my listeners because I want to be a creator of happiness,” in response to the question of which career she would prioritize: singing, streaming, or selling. As for becoming an entrepreneur, I see it as a means of supporting my family financially and growing into other endeavors that will delight my followers as well.
